The Role
As a Jet Vac/Tanker Operative working for us you will play a vital role in delivering essential drainage and environmental services across commercial and construction sectors. You will benefit from working with our modern fleet of vehicles and technology and you will work on a variety of planned and reactive projects, helping us deliver the high standards our customers expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating tanker on drainage and wastewater projects.
- High-pressure water jetting and pipe cleansing to S104/S38 standards.
- Supporting CCTV drainage survey units on-site.
- Safe collection, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Completing vehicle inspections and ensuring full DVSA compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 Licence.
- Driver CPC and valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Valid WJA High Pressure Water Jetting qualification.
- Medium Risk Confined Space certification.
- Current SHEA Water or CSCS Card.
- Proven experience in drainage, jetting or wastewater operations.
Desirable:
- CCTV drainage survey experience.

Drainage Engineer - Multiple Locations

DALROD are a leading UK Franchisor that manages a large network of franchisees with three core brands. With over 40 years knowledge and experience in our sectors we work with some very large and familiar clients.
Our fast-paced local service centres are always growing and we are keen to hear from people wishing to get into the industry. There may a centre near you looking to expand their team. You don’t need to have any previous experience as full training is always provided.
If you want to think about sending in a CV then please understand that drainage is a 24/7 business, so our roles will require some out of hours working based on a rota system.

Typical duties for our drainage engineers include the following (once trained if you have no previous experience):
- Cleaning drains using high pressured water jets
- Unblocking drains using specialist equipment
- Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys of existing drainage systems
- Repairing or replacing broken drainage systems including patching and excavation
Our requirements:
- Flexible, positive can-do attitude
- Full clean UK driving license
- Ideally holds a HPWJ Certificate
- Work minimum 5 days per week plus regular overtime available
- DBS Disclosure Cert will be applied for on your behalf by DALROD
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Required to uphold the company’s high standards of customer service
- A confident communicator with good attention to detail
