This week marks a major milestone for DALROD as we celebrate 40 years of industry leading drainage solutions. Since the original contracts were signed in 1985, DALROD has grown from a local operation into a national network known for innovation, reliability, and a strong sense of family.
To commemorate the occasion, DALROD is hosting a series of events that reflect our roots, growth, and the people who have made it all possible.
Today, the team at Head Office is firing up the grill for a celebratory BBQ, joined by colleagues from DALROD Peterborough, fittingly, on the exact date the company was founded four decades ago. It’s a chance to reflect on the journey, share stories, and toast to the incredible progress made since 1985.
The British weather may have made its presence known, but we didn’t let that stop our celebrations!
As part of the day, a special presentation was delivered by Director Designate Kim Lane. The presentation featured heartfelt video messages from DALROD family members, current and former employees, franchisees, and friends across the country, all paying tribute to the company’s incredible journey and the people behind its success. It was an emotional and proud moment for all involved, capturing the deep bonds that have made DALROD what it is today.
To mark the occasion, founders Dave and Jo were also presented with a specially commissioned piece of art, created in honour of their legacy and vision. And no birthday would be complete without cake, something that was very much enjoyed by the whole team!
The highlight of the week, however, comes this Saturday with a huge family fun day and celebration at Orton Hall in Peterborough. Bringing together staff from across the entire DALROD network, along with their families. The event is set to be the biggest in the company’s history. With entertainment, activities, food, and more, the day is all about recognising the people at the heart of the business: the team members who keep the drains clear, and the service levels high, day in and day out.
As DALROD celebrates this landmark anniversary, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the customers and communities who have supported us over the past 40 years. Your trust and loyalty have been the foundation of our growth, and we’re incredibly proud to have served you through the decades.
