Last Friday, DALROD Franchisees and team members from across the UK gathered at the beautiful Orton Hall Hotel in Peterborough for the much anticipated 2025 Annual Conference.
Held the day before our landmark 40th anniversary celebrations at the same venue, this year’s event brought together the people who continue to drive DALROD forward. The event was all about sharing knowledge, celebrating success and preparing for the next chapter in our company’s journey.
As always, the day offered a valuable opportunity for networking, learning and reflection. Franchisees were treated to a detailed business update outlining our performance, future strategy, and new innovations. The collaborative spirit and engagement in the room once again reflected the strength and values of the DALROD network.
Recognising Outstanding Achievement
A highlight of the event was the annual awards ceremony. This gives us all a chance to proudly recognise franchisees and team members who have gone above and beyond over the past year.
Franchise of the Year was awarded to DALPUMPS, whose incredible debut year in our network has seen them go from strength to strength. They’ve delivered exceptional service, customer satisfaction and operational growth. The dedication and drive shown by DALPUMPS since they were established sets a benchmark for new franchises to follow.
The High Achiever Award went to DALROD Merseyside & Chester. Their constant dedication to the DALROD model and impressive results over the past 12 months truly stood out. The team’s commitment to excellence and team development continues to be an inspiration.
We were also proud to present a Special Recognition Award to longstanding engineer Craig Pepper of DALROD Cambridge, who was named Engineer of the Year. Craig’s technical skill, problem solving abilities and unwavering professionalism have made him a true asset to the network and a deserving winner of this award.
And for those with a strong stomach… The infamous Golden Plunger Award for the worst unblock of the year (we’ll spare you the photographic evidence!) went to DALROD Peterborough. While it might not be the most glamorous award, it certainly highlights the kind of determination and grit that underpins our essential work.
Looking Ahead, Together
With the formalities of the day wrapped up, guests enjoyed and evening of dinner, networking and a lively interactive quiz celebrating 40 years of DALROD. The evening was a fitting tribute to our collective achievements and the strength of our growing franchise family.
Managing Director, Dave Lane reflected on the conference: “This year’s event was more than just a conference, it was a chance to take stock of everything we’ve built together over the last four decades. I’m immensely proud of our teams and excited for what the future holds”
