Easter is quickly approaching this year, and everyone has been busy shopping to fill their “Easter baskets” with traditional Easter eggs and other chocolatey treats.
Egg-citement of Easter!
Recently, Spalding United FC issued an appeal in a bid to raise support and gather donations of Easter eggs for a local foodbank for children in the surrounding community before the upcoming holiday.
DALROD Lincolnshire has long been a sponsor of Spalding United FC, the local football club and we wanted to show our support and participate in any way we could.
Today, the DALROD Lincolnshire team and the Area Business Development Technician Lee Hilton, enthusiastically went Easter shopping and filled the shopping trolley to the brim with as many chocolate Easter eggs as possible (as shown in the photos below). These will be donated via Spalding United FC to the food bank, in the hope of making some children happy this Easter.
Lee from DALROD Lincolnshire said: “It is always a tremendous pleasure not only for me, but also for our entire team, to be given such opportunities and to be a part of these meaningful activities for our community, especially when it comes to children. We hope that we have made this Easter just a little bit sweeter for the children around Spalding who need it”.
